If they want to try to find an alternative course, applicants must register on UCAS TRACK to use Adjustment so universities and colleges can view their application. If an applicant wish to use adjustment they must – please DO NOT ADVISE to be The Adjustment Period Adjustment for applicant’s that have achieved higher than their predicted grades. Adjustment is available from A level results day (15 August for 2013) until 31 August 2013 An applicant's individual Adjustment period starts when their conditional firm (CF) choice changes to unconditional firm (UF) or 15 August, whichever is the later. From this time they have a maximum of five calendar days (five 24 hour periods) to register and secure an alternative programme, if they decide this is what they want to do.

Please note this is processed as soon we receive the request and NOT after consultation with school / college. Release into Clearing What is release into clearing? Where an applicant is UF and no longer wants to attend their chosen choice. This will put the applicant straight into clearing and not to their insurance. Applicant should with their full name, ID Number and if possible the reason.
