The Role of the River-The Ancient Egypt By Jordan Cheung

Technology -They built pyramids to put the dead bodies inside. They had a belief that when ever the body is still here, the spirit can still be alive! -Most of the buildings are small. Egypt Pyramids

Art -Large Egypt sculpture to represent the mighty civilization. -Designs of the Pyramids. -The drawings on the walls of Egypt. Hieroglyphs Statues

Thoughts -They thought that the Pharaoh was the one who controls everything in Egypt. -They thought that the Locust (Bugs who ruins their valley) were a curse. -They thought that the cobra was for protecting the Pharaoh. The Locus

The Nile The world’s longest river- The Nile is next to the Egypt civilization. The river helps them a lot. People there use the river for fishing, playing, exploring and swimming. Without the Nile, things there will be lot difficult. People there thought that the river is the most precious and important thing.

More information of the river -People in the river use the river for fishing, swimming, playing and exploring. -A lot of beliefs from Egypt. For example, people thought that the cobra was for protecting the Pharaoh. Also, when the Pharaoh passed away, the people wrapped him up, with hundred meters of bandages. They thought that as long as the body is still here, the spirit is still alive. They even put the Amulet on the body of the Pharaoh while wrapping him up.

Helps from the Nile -Great mount of crops grew there because the air there is wet enough. -Gives the people there lots of water to drink and survive. -Gives a good place for agriculture to live in

What people there think the river is helpful In mid summer, the land were dry and there were no water at that moment. How they hope the river would flood, the Sun was too strong. Too dry for humans.
