CEOC Emergency Activation The County EOC will activate when: –A City activates its EOC and requests support from the Operational Area –Two or more cities have proclaimed a local emergency –The County proclaims a local emergency
During an LACO EOC Activation OEM monitors escalating incidents OEM ensures that responding agencies get incident information OEM distributes incident information to BOS and EM partners OEM keeps the State informed about response actions & capabilities OEM coordinates with Sheriff’s Department in activating CEOC OEM staffs key CEOC positions and provides liaisons to other EOCs, as necessary OEM collects cost and damage information to support requests for State or Federal assistance
