Isometric Drawing Chippewa Middle School Production Engineering

From the left margin measure over 6 inches. From the top of the title block measure up ½ “. This is your starting point..

With your T-Square draw a vertical line from the starting point.

With your T-square and triangle draw, from the starting point, a 30° line to the right and a 30° line to the left.

From the starting point measure 2 inches to the right, 5 inches to the left, and 3 inches up. X X X

From the 2 inch and 5 inch mark use the T-square and draw vertical lines X X X

X

From the 3 inch mark use the T- square and triangle and draw 30° lines to the left and to the right. X

From the point where the 30° lines intersect with the vertical lines use the T-square and triangle and draw 30° lines to the left and to the right. X X

From the center point measure up 1 ½ inches. From the corner farthest to the left measure down 1 ½ inches. with the triangle draw 30° lines to the right at each point. X X

Use the straight edge to connect the endpoints of the lines together.

Erase away all your projects and lines so you just see the shape of part number two. You do not need to dimension isometric drawings.
