What is the definition of a parallelogram?

A quadrilateral where both pairs of opposite sides are parallel.

Anytime you want to prove something in geometry, you just have to show the definition of what you are trying to prove. Think of how we proved something was a midpoint. With parallelograms, there are also four converses that we can use to prove a quadrilateral is a parallelogram (that’s 5 ways total). Lets look at the other 4.
