Agenda 0 Aurasma App Overview 0 Implementation Issues, Indicators, and Troubleshooting Suggestions (Ch. 5) 0 Reflection

What is Aurasma? “We’re changing the way people see and interact with the world” Since launching in 2011, Aurasma has quickly risen to become the world’s leading augmented reality platform with over 40,000 customers operating in over 100 countries.

Steps to Use the App Today 0 Download Aurasma to your device. 0 Set up an account by creating a user name and password of your choice. 0 Search the DMS Pride 14 Channel using the magnifying glass at the bottom of your screen. 0 Follow our channel. 0 You are ready to use the app. Go to the view finder at the bottom of your screen. 0 Point the viewfinder at a “trigger” to view the graphic or video.

Explore the Issues from Ch 5 Walk around the room, review the issue from the student and teacher perspective, and scan the trigger images.

Reflection (Complete on an index card with your on it, please!) 0 Think about the 11 issues for implementation. 0 On one side of your card, write the two issues that you most relate to. 0 Read back over the suggestions the authors give on pages for improving in these areas. 0 On the back of your card, record ways that you want to work on your “issue.” It may be a suggestion the author gave or something that you determine. 0 Turn in card to Allison before you leave or drop in her box by Friday.
