Present situation….. Sponsorship from E.ON ended July 2009 Raised small amounts of funding Postponed annual conference Talks with Utilities, DECC and EST Enough money to run the Secretariat until end of May 2010 (full capacity) Until the end of July 2010 (half capacity)

Present situation….. No creditors Standard items are budgeted for To continue until July require £39, We will need to pay for an audit, VAT etc No charge to pay the hotel

Future of Secretariat….. No firm guarantee of sponsorship from EST Determine work priorities for March – July Legal issues and VAT returns etc which need to be completed

Proposal…. Helen and Rob both continue to work on the Secretariat until May June – July 2010 just Rob Magazine be published electronically to save costs If funding is secured for the Secretariat then preparation for the Conference 2011

Proposal…. Maximise income by adverts on the web and sponsorship Reduced costs – one full time officer, less travel Work on the conference to generate income for post May 2011

Option 1…..Dissolution Form DS01 + £10 fee Majority Directors sign it No activity for 3 months then submit All accounts, creditors need to be settled Entered into London Gazette for 3 months If no objections then struck off register Stop work in July, submit form in October

Option 2…..Interim run on If funding can be secured from EST (written – by end of April 2010) then we may be able to continue with the Secretariat function (per conditions of EST). CAN would owe Leicester City Council until monies have been received from EST

Option 3…..Transfer of Secretariat CAN be continued by another body/authority from July 2010 Agreement with LCC will end in July Need to agree transfer of records, assets Staffing issues
