Learning Ambassadors

Who are the Learning Ambassadors?

Privilege We have been chosen to be Ambassadors for our school because we have shown these qualities: Kind and Gentle Honest Listen Carefully Work hard and are positive Respect others, the school and property It is a privilege to be a Learning Ambassador and represent our school.

What does a Learning Ambassador do? We represent Guesting Bradshaw by visiting other local schools helping promote our behaviour and attitude to learning. Pupil voice; we are involved in meetings with Mr Cline who asks for our opinions and listens to our ideas on the school development plan. We are helping the school be the best it can be.

Visitors to our school As part of being a Learning Ambassador we take part in learning walks around other primary schools and report back on our observations. This week we welcomed other Ambassadors to our school for the first learning walk of the year. You may remember groups of adults and children visiting your classrooms while you were busy learning, it was hard to miss them!

Group discussions After visiting all of you the group gathered in the hall to discuss our findings. Feedback and comments made by the group will help improve our learning. The scones were good too!

Feedback Here are some of the comments made: We provide useful information for the pupils. Our students were concentrating hard on their work. Our pupils show good behaviour in class and were not distracted by people coming into the classroom. We are a creative school and the displays encourage the pupils to learn. Classes have reading corners with questions for pupils to answer. We have displays that catch your eye and pupils can attach notes to explain what they are learning. Maths working walls have challenging questions on. 3D display boards are much more interesting. Pupils are polite.
