Your first EURES job

Making it easier to move and work to recruit young people in Europe

The targeted mobility scheme Young people aged 18–35 EU countries + Norway and Iceland Helps also employers, in particular small and medium- sized enterprises (SMEs), to find the workforce they need for their hard-to-fill vacancies

How to participate Applicant - Vacancy specifications - Labour laws of the recruiting country - Regardless of education level, work/training experience Employer -All legally established businesses, particularly SMEs (up to 250 people) -Only SME may receive financial support

General rules of work placement The eligible job must: Be located in an EU country other than the country of residence of the young jobseeker Be subject to open and transparent information on the rights and obligations of the trainee/apprentice, the employer, other labour market stakeholders, and, where applicable, the educational/vocational training organisation

Comply with national labour and social protection laws and ensure adequate protection and benefits (e.g. social security, health and accident insurance) A written contract Last for at least six months Be a full- or part-time work placement (no less than 50 % full-time equivalent Processing time about 4-8 weeks, remember sign

How can I get financial support? Jobseekers must always register with a YfEj employment service. The registration is not a guarantee of financial support, Business support/ Callcentre Not for posted workers, no commission based work A flat-rate allowance 635 to EUR 1 270, Young candidates can also apply for partial reimbursement of the costs of: Language courses Recognition of qualifications Mobility in case of special needs
