Plot Samantha is a bright Victorian orphan living I New York with her grandmother. She sees a beautiful doll inside a toy shop in town with one her good friends, Ida. During a lady-like lesson with her Grandmary, she asks about the doll and tells Grandmary about a wonderful Christmas party Ida invited to. Grandmary tells her if she works hard she can have the doll maybe for Christmas. Her uncle Gard comes with Cornelia, so Samantha can not got to Ida’s party. Some other things go wrong for Samantha so she gets all mad at Cornelia and says she did not want to get her any presents. Read to find out if Samantha gets the doll and likes Cornelia!
