Procurement 1.Distribute CESA position paper to members and invite comment 2.Work with clients on improving procurement policies, rules and guidelines. 3.Encourage the use programmes instead of projects to reduce procurement events but do not neglect smaller projects to provide focused opportunities
Training and Development 4.Encourage the use of provisional sums for training and development in project fee schedules and monitor that this is spent appropriately. 5.Develop systems and procedures that can be used to assist with the provision of on-the- job training and development of client engineering staff. (Procurement?)
Transformation and Development 6.Facilitate JVs amongst member firms to advance the profession and CE business as a whole – consider size, aspirations, expertise and location 7.Facilitate better understanding of small and large firms of one another and the roles they can play.
