Our Own Cinderella Story!!!
Cindergold Once upon a time, long, long ago, there was a little girl named Cindergold. She had two older sisters named Angela and Alex. Cindergold always behaved. Every morning, Cindergold had to get up, make breakfast, wash the dishes after every meal, and serve her sisters when ever they wanted something.
One morning they ordered Cindergold to go out in the garden and pick some beans and peas for dinner. When Cindergold went outside to the garden, she filled the bowl with beans and peas. Then she cracked them open. Instead of peas and beans coming out of the shells, gold and rubies came out! Not many beans and peas came out, but there were enough for the two girls so they wouldn't be suspicious.
That night they ate dinner. Cindergold washed and dishes and went to bed. She put the gold and the rubies in a blue handbag and hid them under her bed and went to sleep. She woke up in the middle of the night and snuck out of the house with the gold and rubies. It was pitch black outside. The moon left a sparkle of light. Finally, the sun rose and it was morning. She kept on walking for three straight days without stopping and was very hungry and tired. Finally, she had to give up. She could not walk anymore. She had to rest. She lay down on a smooth round rock and fell asleep very fast.
When it was almost dark, she woke up. Cindergold got up and started to walk again. Up ahead she thought it looked like little cottages and she started running faster and faster. Soon she was there! She walked down rough rocks. She still had the little blue handbag.
People at the village were selling fruit and baskets, clothes and jewels. The first thing Cindergold did was buy four dresses. She gave the person who was selling them four pieces of gold. Then she went over to a little place that sold cottages that were $60. She told the man that was selling it that she would like to buy it. The man looked at her and laughed. You would like to buy that cottage?! Then Cindergold showed him the gold and rubies. The man jumped up off of his straw chair and took her to the biggest cottage and showed her inside. It was really big even inside. There was a big bed in a very big room. There was a jewelery box set on a bureau. The man opened a door and they were back outside. Cindergold bought the house.
She put on one of the blue sparkling dresses. It was almost dark when she walked outside and a taxi took her to a restaurant called Bugaboo's. She went inside and ordered a hamburger, French fries, and a coke. When she was done she left. She went to her new home and went to bed.
The next morning, her two sisters were picking purple tulips, when they saw the cottage and ran down to it. They knocked on the door and Cindergold answered it and saw her sisters. They looked at Cindergold and said, "How did you get here? We were looking for you!" Then the two sisters grabbed her by the arm and pulled her in the house, tied her to a chair, stole all of her stuff and then left. Cindergold wiggled out of the ropes and ran after her sisters. Her sisters were just about to buy a cottage and spend the rest of the money when they saw the police standing behind them. Then a short, fat police man asked them why they were spending their money so fast. The sisters said they liked to spend money. The police man said, "I know you stole that." The police man put them in jail and returned the gold to Cindergold.
