Kick-off meeting – Vienna February 2015

Ad-hoc Trans-associations workshops that will be held alternately in each BIOSURF country (each six-months): to provide, mainly to stakeholders of the hosting association, updates on the entire project and on the activities of the other associations within the project. 6 general workshops during the project duration with focus on technical and non-technical topics; participation is on a voluntary basis, and can change overtime; One national conference per country, gathering all main national stakeholders; opportunity to exploit project results on a larger and strategic perspective through the involvement of national decision makers and investors; Interaction with existing local, national and EU networks and associations through a broad range of modalities, e.g., they will receive the BIOSURF products (deliverables, folders, newsletters, etc.), the BIOSURF partners will participate to their events and vice versa. All meetings and workshops will be evaluated by means of a short evaluation form to the participants. Activities of the Biogas Associations

TRANS-ASSOCIATION WORKSHOP … an open window on the entire project … an insight on the activities … an open discussion on priority topics … a transfer of experiences, and … solutions to common problems THIS SESSION AIMS TO PROVIDE …

HOW DOES IT WORK? There are 3 tables, one for each topic: o What is needed for substantial cross- border biomethane trade in Europe? o Sustainable raw material supply for the production of biomethane o Assessment of environmental impacts from the production and use of biomethane Everybody can use the paper table cloth to draw, doodle, note down ideas and insights The three “table hosts” will summarize the outcomes of the discussions to the audience at the end of the session
