4 Usability Study Recruited 7 participants from a list of potential ones, representative of the website audience Conducted moderated and remote usability testing (GoToMeeting) from Jan. 20 – Feb. 3, 2016 Tested participants with eight tasks relevant to the new redesign

15 Analytics Tip: Unique Page Views vs. Page Views Any time a page is loaded by a user’s browser, the number of page views for that page is incremented. Unique Page Views Eliminates multiple views of the same page during a session. Page Views All views are of the same page during a session are counted. Example: In the above example, Google Analytics would count the following for the EERE Home Page: Page Views: 3 Unique Page Views: 1
16 Analytics Tip: Unique Page Views vs. Page Views When to use Unique Page Views For finding how many times a page was visited Page Views For calculating the exit rate for a group of pages exits = 100 * exits/page views
