Presentation transcript:

We need help building a school in Kenya for the Eluaai, (Masai tribe).

Many Masai children are not going to school until the age of 10 or 11, or if at all. Few children in Eluaai reach the standard 8 th grade because their family does not have the money to keep them in school. Those that do, must attend sub-standard schools with poor teaching and low quality facilities.

For the Ed Colina foundation, early childhood education are a priority. The foundation supports three preschools and feeding programs in the Nairobi area(Kibera Jitahidi preschool, Bisil St. henry school, and Athi River St. timothy). Two additional preschools, once supported by the foundation, are now independent (Esarunto Masai and Kawethei School). Plans are currently underway to begin another school and food program for the Masai community of Eluaai in January of 2013.

Why should you donate for the school? You should donate for the school because the children of the Masai tribe, don’t have very good education, and they need education just like any other child in the world.

Also, you should donate because the children of Eluaai, don’t get much food, and if you donate then they will get a full lunch to eat, and an education at their new school.

24 three year olds 10 four year olds 14 five year olds& 3 six year olds

Those kids in Kenya are no different then any other kid in the world. So, why do we get great education and they don’t? Put yourself in their shoes. Wouldn’t you want people to help donate to get yourself an education?
