The Unchangeable Pattern “Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints.” (Jude 3)

It Will Never Change… Human Nature Galatians 5:17 Spirit and flesh still at war!

Faith=Gospel No other scheme! No other plan! No other pattern! No other way to be saved. Romans 1:16 James 1:21

“The Faith” “Once, one time…once for all, repetition is not required.” 1 Peter 3:18 How many times did Christ suffer for sins? No other pattern is forthcoming!

Where Did It Originate? 1 Corinthians 2:9-11 — divine revelation. Galatians 1:11,12 — not taught by man. 2 Timothy 3:16,17 — inspired. Ephesians 3:3-5 — understandable. Ephesians 5:17 —we MUST know !

Sacred and Solemn Charge… Galatians 1:6-9 —there is not another gospel John 12:48-50 —the word will judge us. Romans 2:16 —my gospel. 2 Peter 1:3 —all things pertain to life and godliness. 1 Corinthians 4:6 — not to go beyond.

Sacred and Solemn Charge… 2 John 9-11— we must abide in the teaching of Christ. Revelation 22:18,19 —cannot add to or subtract from. If other books say more, it’s TOO MUCH. If they say less, it’s TOO LITTLE. If they say the same, they’re NOT NEEDED!

God Gave the Pattern … Would changing it just a “little” really hurt anything? Leviticus 10:1,2 Genesis 4:1-8 Number 20:12 2 Samuel 6:7,8

God Gave the Pattern… What about making some “minor changes” as time passes by? Number 4:15 Jeremiah 10:23 Exodus 20:3 TIME DOES NOT CHANGE TRUTH!
