February 2012 Updates: Got to get this energetic girl out some more!
Following a recommendation from Angelina, Alma and I visited the Jump & Jive music playgroup at the Anglican church. Unlike the Emu Heights playgroup, this was a massive group! It wasn’t as well organized and appealing as our favourite “Mainly Music” playgroup in Concord, but for $2 you get a small themed music class, a play area for the little ones, a cup of tea, fruit and biscuits, and nice company of other overworked mothers, so it was a nice outing. Due to the hectic first term we went only once, but we’ll be back in term 2.
We joined Angelina and Virginia for a fun morning at Lollipops soft play centre in Penrith. It’s a nicely designed centre, the girls had a great time.
Alma was especially enthusiastic about the mini cars area!
So many wheels, so little time...
Alma enthusiastically tried everything!
The toddlers area was great, she did everything by herself!
Virginia enjoyed the craft workshop
Alma checked everything: From the bins to the giant slides!
Coming up next: March presentations!
