Common Name Scientific Name  The common name of this shrub is the Winter Berry Holly Male.  The scientific name of this shrub is Ilex Verticillata.

Soil And Sun  The Winter Berry Holly Male can live and grow in the sun or some sun.  These are soils that the shrub can grow in. Acidic, Loamy, Moist, Sandy, Silty loam, Well Drained, Wet, Wide range, and clay.

Wild Life Uses  The Winter Berry Holly Male attracts all sorts of animals. Like birds, Squirrels, Deer, and Bee’s.

Reproduction  To get a a very large bloom out of this plant you should plant it around 50ft from the female.  If you do this it will keep pollinating or reproducing with the female over time. When an animal eats the berries it deposits the seeds.

Where should we plant this plant?  We think that we should plant the male and female Winter Berry Holly’s near a water source because it would get the right amount of sun and it grows best in wet soil. You would need a good amount of growing room because this plant can grow up to 9ft tall and 7ft wide. And you need to plant it from 50 to 100ft away from the other plant.
