Hunger: What is it?  Hunger is the insufficient intake of nutrients  This mean that people are not getting the right amount of food needed to stay healthy  Is there enough food? How to fix it: Church View  Hunger is a violation of every human’s basic rights and therefore is an injustice  Jesus calls us to not only be aware of this type of problem, but to confront it  We are called as Christians/Catholics to look for ways to help those who are hungry by providing them with the proper food and nutrients  Also we are called to help provide those you live in poverty, proper work and the ability to get out of their situation

Luke 3:11 John answered, “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.”

James 2:15-17 "If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead."

Matthew 25:40 "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
