Agenda About Manufacturing product Strategy Product Layout Selling Method Sales forecasting method

About Manufacturing Manufacturing is the process of converting raw materials into finished or semi-finished products having higher value and a potential to generate higher profits. Manufacturing requires inputs such as manpower, materials, machines, methods, and metrics. These inputs are fused together to achieve efficiency and profitability.

Discrete Manufacturing Strategy Discrete manufacturing is the production of distinct items. Cars, furniture, electronics and airplanes are examples of discrete manufacturing products. This type of manufacturing is usually characterized by strategies such as Manufacturing Process Strategy -Make-to-stock Large quantity of product produced Predictable demand High inventory cost

Strategy Communication Disciplined Planning and Thinking Organization Building Scope

Process Layout The plastic manufacturing process refers to the series of steps required to turn raw oil and natural gas into plastic products, such as cups, hoses, pipes, and straws. It is a very complicated process that first begins with transforming oil and natural gas into hydrocarbon monomers that are then linked together into long chains known as polymer plastics. the process can produce a variety of different types of polymer plastics, such as polyethyleneterephthalate (PET), high density polyethylene (HDPE), and polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Once these plastic polymers have been created, the next step in the process is to transform these simple polymers into complex consumer products.

Selling Method Team Selling Method As it is a used in large quantity, Team Selling Method is here. Team Selling Method helps in maintaining quantity of product.

Sale Forecasting Methods We are using these two methods forecasting :- Market Survey In this method, existing and potential customers are asked relevant questions about the product and service, to gauge their mindset. Test Marketing: In this method, the company launches its product in a test market to test its feasibility and sales potential
