1) Prevention Measures Vehicle wash station Vehicle wash station Specifications for equipment cleaning Specifications for equipment cleaning Native /weed free seed and straw specifications Native /weed free seed and straw specifications Inspection of rock/gravel/fill dirt prior to import Inspection of rock/gravel/fill dirt prior to import Attempt at eradication of new species Attempt at eradication of new species Invasives Plan Elements 2)Control Work No chemical use inside of BRWMU boundary Hand-pulling or digging where possible Deadheading hawkweeds before roadside brush mgmt Covering/solarization Use of experimental methods- baking soda and vinegar 3)Mapping and Early Detection Regular surveys of all roads Winter off road surveys Regular surveys of high use areas

Control Measures- EDRR Mapping and Control Work  Orange/Meadow hawkweed (Hieracium aurianticum, H. caespitosum) control - PCT and Lolo Pass gate area  Clematis (Clematis vitalba)- several infestations in lower portions of Watershed in logged areas or in rights-of-way  English Ivy (Hedera helix)- gate and lower portions of Wshed, mostly hand pulling but initial treatments spray treatments  Yellow archangel (Lamiastrum galeobdolon)- North and south edges. Attempted hand pull unsuccessful, may spray next  Shining geranium (Geranium lucidum)- Three distinct small locations- hand pulling only  Spotted and diffuse knapweed (Centaurea stoebe, Centaurea diffusa)- under BPA transmission lines at Larch Mt.- hand pulling and some spot spraying  Garlic mustard (Alliaria petiolata)- near the BRWMU boundaries but not inside- hand pulling  False brome (Brachypodium sylvaticum)- one population- spray treatment
