Chernobyl Disaster On April 26, 1986 reactor 4 suffered a catastrophic steam explosion that resulted in a fire, a series of additional explosions, and a nuclear meltdown. Effect Effect  The accident had effect on many other countries, mainly East Europe.  The accident immediately killed 30 people, but in 6 years it caused cancer, birth defection, and many other diseases to over 43 million people.  As short term, crucial damage to environment recovered from 1989, even though nearby the accident happened is considered death land; however, people still need to concern about long term damage of environment.

Air Pollution with Chemical Definition: The release of chemicals and particulates into the atmosphere. Definition: The release of chemicals and particulates into the atmosphere. Main Cause of Air Pollution: Power plant, motor vehicles that usually emit much more chemical material than natural purification.
