LO: I can write from the viewpoint of a character

Which character are these traits likely to be from:

The old man tells him how to wear his cap

The two men look on as the boy climbs the steps and looks back

Your task is to write three short diary entries about the day from the viewpoint of each character. You will need to use evidence from the text to show how a character felt – and why they did something. So for example, we know the boy finds the old men a little funny as he laughs when he compares the broom/brush to their moustaches! Perhaps he could talk about that in his diary entry. LO: I can write from the viewpoint of a character
