Behavioral Expectations Follow Lunch Arbor Rules School Dress Code Classroom Rules

In the classroom: There are classroom Rules There is ongoing positive reinforcement There is diversified instruction The teachers use Gradual Release of Responsibility (Modeling, Doing together, Doing in small groups, Doing independently) The teachers use Reciprocal Teaching (Predicting, Questioning, Clarifying, Summarizing) All teachers are “on the same channel”.

 Everyone in the school must be able to “feel” a part of the school’s culture.  It has to do with what the Administration, Staff, Teachers, Parents, and Students do, and how they do it.  It has to do with what the Administration, Staff, Teachers, Parents, and Students say and how they say it.  It distinguishes how the Community around that school perceives it and its members.  It must be based on respect, kindness, and helping everyone be the best that they can be.
