JUNIOR YEAR CLASSES LOOKING AHEAD

YOUR PHYSICS OPTIONS Regular physics is gone, the default class is now honors physics. Most of you will sign up for that. The other options is AP physics 1 or AP physics 1 & 2

MORE ON PHYSICS AP physics 1 and AP physics 1&2 Requirements A in chemistry and must be taking trig or higher next year. “A” in current regular math class or an “A” or “B” in current honors math class. If above math requirements are not met then you must provide proof of “A” in algebra to not be rejected.

AP 1 VS AP 1&2 AP Physics 1 is a single period every day AP Physics 1 and 2 is a double period every day and covers about twice as much material. If you LOVE math and science AP 1&2 might be for you. If you take AP physics 1 next year you will have the option to take AP physics 2 as a stand alone class your senior year.
