God’s Covenant of Grace I will love you always. Particularly when you don’t love me. I will take the hurt of your lack of love I will challenge your lack of love I will enable you to love

Our Covenant of Grace We will love (God and Others) Particularly when others don’t love us. We will take the hurt of their lack of love We will challenge their lack of love We will draw on God (bible, prayer, eating) We will do this together (eating, fellowship)

3 Spirit, watch over me, Lead me to Jesus’ feet. Cause me to worship and fill me anew, Spirit, watch over me. 1 River, wash over me, Cleanse me and make me new. Bathe me, refresh me and fill me anew, River wash over me. 2 Jesus, rule over me, Reign over all my heart. Teach me to praise You and fill me anew, Jesus, rule over me

13 Live in peace with each other. 14 And we urge you, brothers and sisters, warn those who are idle and disruptive, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, be patient with everyone. 15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else. 16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 19 Do not quench the Spirit. 20 Do not treat prophecies with contempt 21 but test them all; hold on to what is good, 22 reject every kind of evil. Thank God for his written Word to us

Romans 5: 3-5 We glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

“Since we are surrounded by so great a crowd of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin which clings so closely and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith.”

Covenant together Heavenly Father, We thank you for your covenant of grace. We covenant with you and with companion disciples to walk together before you and to watch over each other.
