US Coast Guard Sector Anchorage Alternate Planning Criteria

33 CFR Alternate Planning Criteria – “owner or operator of nontank vessel believes that national planning criteria…are inappropriate for the areas in which the vessels intend to operate…may submit an alternative planning criteria.” – “provide for an equivalent level of planning, response, or pollution mitigation strategies.” – “must be endorsed by the COTP”

APC – Aleutian Islands Subarea Aleutian Islands Subarea Committee recommended no changes to existing Sector Anchorage APC Endorsement Criteria “APC is to gradually build-up response capability in remote areas…It is recommended that an build-up of response resources be coordinated with regional planning groups.”
