The 1122 Program The 1122 Program is a Federal Program that allows State and local governmental agencies the opportunity to purchase equipment suitable for Homeland Security, Emergency Response, and Counter Drug activities via Federal procurement channels.

Authority for the 1122 Program Authorization is contained within the National Defense Authorization Act (Section 1122) for fiscal year 1994 and 2009 The Georgia Department of Public Safety has been designated by the Governor as the lead agency for program management within the State of Georgia.

What is the 1122 Program 1. It is a Counter Drug, Homeland Security and Emergency Response Procurement Program. 2.
