It all starts with CARBON. coal (and electricity from coal) oil natural gas

Energy (and Water) Carbon dioxide (CO 2 )

Carbon dioxide is a heat-trapping gas. The CO 2 surrounds the Earth like a blanket.

Carbon dioxide is a heat-trapping gas. As we use burn more coal, natural gas, and oil, the blanket is more dense.

Carbon dioxide is a heat-trapping gas. Heat gets trapped inside the blanket and the Earth gets warmer.

The Heat-Trapping Blanket Story (We used to call this the greenhouse effect.) This heating is changing climate.
