Please write this learning target in your planner:  I will be able to sequence events in a cultural text. Practice Activities  I will preview the vocabulary for this section.  I will identify sequencing in a section of this chapter.  I will begin to read the chapter and take Cornell Notes. Success Criteria  I will have added five vocabulary words to my journal.  I will have completed a sequencing worksheet.  I will have taken Cornell Notes on this chapter.

I will be able to sequence events in a text.

 Turn to page 92.  Listen as I pronounce each of our vocabulary words.  Repeat each word after me.  Add them to your glossary in the back of your journals.
