Overview  An inconsistency or error in the data is discovered  The error is reported to the Principal NHD Steward  A plan of action is determined with input from the USGS NHD POC  The plan is implemented and editing begins  The dataset is corrected and QA/QC’d  The changes are uploaded into the database  Corrected dataset becomes available for download
