Stroke Also called a “Brain Attack” occurs when a clot in the brain blocks blood supply

Life Style or Hereditary A stroke can be either one, if you eat unhealthy or if your family has a history of strokes

Signs and Symptoms There are different ways to tell: face, arm, or speech problems or irregularity, as shown in the chart

Treatments There is no treatment for a stroke. Once it happens it happens. You can get help to get better or to prevent other strokes

WoW Every year in the U.K., around 150,000 people have a stroke. It is the 3rd most common death in the U.K. Stroke is the third leading cause of death in the United States. Around 137,000 Americans die of stroke every year. Every 40 seconds, someone in the U.S. has a stroke. Every 3 to 4 minutes, someone dies of a stroke.
