No End In Sight By: Alex Rios English

Early War Questions Why didn’t George Bush take control of what was happening in the war, instead of letting Rumsfeld command the war? Why did the Army Generals ignore the request’s from families to take the troops out of the war? Why does the U.S have to be so ignorant towards our rights and not listen to the people?

Current War Questions Why did the U.S let riots continue in Iraq? Why do we still continue to send troops to other countries to fight? Why didn’t we ever have a plan on what to do for the war when we first captured Saddam Husain?

Important Facts U.S Spending in Iraq- About $900 billion of US taxpayers' funds spent or approved for spending through November U.S troops- Troops in Iraq - Total 47,000 U.S. troops as of Nov 30, All other nations have withdrawn their troops. U.S. Troop Casualties - 4,439 US troops; 98% male. 91% non-officers; 82% active duty, 11% National Guard; 74% Caucasian, 9% African- American, 11% Latino. 19% killed by non-hostile causes. 54% of US casualties were under 25 years old. 72% were from the US Army. Non-U.S. Troop Casualties - Total 316, with 179 from the UK. US Troops Wounded - 32,033, 20% of which are serious brain or spinal injuries. (Total excludes psychological injuries.) US Troops with Serious Mental Health Problems - 30% of US troops develop serious mental health problems within 3 to 4 months of returning home

What angered me the most in the film Some of the actions in the movie No End In Sight angered me because the U.S was not taking control of the Iraqi population. Also that the communities had access to the guns and nuclear bombs that were more powerful then what the U.S had with them.
