ASHRAE RP

Don’t reinvent the wheel! ………………..

ASHRAE RP

Last Year But Unfortunately Not This Year Every year. Loves ASHRAE. Committed to supporting. Key to Remember: STILL must be asked, still SHOULD be asked for support Find LYBUNTs using the 10 Year History “The Backbone of your Campaign”

Please don’t…. Assume they “don’t care” because they always give Ignore their support, contributions, and history with the Chapter NOT ask for their renewed support Giving is always voluntary…

Call Speak to at a Meeting Thank them for their past support The power of THANK YOU! Celebrate what the Chapter accomplished last year… because of their support Celebrate what ASHRAE accomplished last year… because of their support Ask for their renewed support

How important are they really?

Some Years But Unfortunately Not This Has typically been a supporter, but didn’t give ‘last year’ Key to Remember: They used to give, but STOPPED Find SYBUNTs using the 10 Year History “Great Potential for Increasing Results”

The mystery…. Why did they stop giving? Did the Chapter do or not do something? Did the donor forget? Are they out of the industry? ???? Lots of Reasons Find the answer and SOLVE IT

Call Speak to at a Meeting Thank them for their past support The power of THANK YOU! Indicate that you were surprised/sorry not to see their name listed again in the Honor Roll, sponsor list, list of donors, etc. Apologize for missing them last year Ask for their renewed support

Hasn’t given to ASHRAE in 5+ years For some reason, has never contributed financially Key to Remember: They might ‘support’ ASHRAE in other ways or might not have any real relationships with ASHRAE Find New Donors at Chapter Meetings and Events “Great Potential, a bit of Work Needed”

The mystery…. What’s their relationship? Why haven’t they contributed financially? What’s their motivator and interest? Find the Answer and try to solve it Remain Respectful Maintain the Relationship

Honor Roll = $100+ Individuals $250+ Organizations/ Companies Highest Number of Donors $100-$149 Pages 48-49
