1.You have to download Apache Server software first on the site below: 2.Then you also have to download this application on the site below:

1.First you have to install Xampp Server 1. 1 Run File - Open the folder which you saved Xampp file you’ve downloaded. -Double click on Xampp file and then choose Run. (for example, look at the pic below!) 1.2 After you installed the file, save Xampp folder on Local Disc (C : )

2.Install Wordpress on your PC 2.1 Extract the.zip file - Open the folder which you saved Wordpress file you’ve downloaded. - Right click on Wordpress then choose Extract Here (look at the pic below!)

2.2Copy Wordpress file that you’ve extracted. - After you extracted Wordpress file, copy the folder into htdocs folder which located in Local Disc (C: )

3.Create wp-config.php file 3.1 Open Wordpress folder which located in C:\xampp\htdocs 3.2 Copy wp-config-sample.php file, then paste 3.3 Rename the new file with wp-config.php, and done! 4.Create database for Wordpress using phpmyadmin tool 4.1 Open Mozilla Firefox, then type localhost/phpmyadmin/ on the address bar then Enter, the tool will appear like the picture below. -

4.1Click Database >> Create New Database >> Type a name for your own database. (but remember, type it without space and do not put number at the beginning of the name!). Then click CREATE.

5.Edit wp-config.php file which located in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress 5.1 Open NotePad on your PC, click File then choose Open and browse wp-config.php file which located in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress

5.2After you opened the file on Notepad, now we can start to edit some parts of wp.config.php program Edit the name of database according to your own database name which you’ve typed on phpmyadmin tool On database username, you can type ‘root’ And last, for database password, you don’t have to type anything. Just let it empty! And then SAVE!!! Look at the picture on the next slide!

6.Register to Wordpress account 6.1 Open Mozilla Firefox, then type localhost/wordpress/wp-admin/install.php on the address bar and enter. 6.2 Fill the form with your name, password, and the name for your own site. 7.Log In to your own offline wordpress site 7.1 After you filled all the forms above, now you can log in to your site. Type localhost/wordpress/wp-login.php on the address bar and enter. LOOK AT THE PICTURE ON THE NEXT SLIDE!!!

Fill your own username and password that you’ve registered on previous step, then click Log In.

Now you can post and share everything on your own offline site without connect to the internet! You can customize your own site, change the theme, the background, header. Customize your own page’s menu, etc. You can share your photos, videos and so on. Enjoy your site! You don’t have to be a good writter, just have some fun. Good Luck!
