LOCAL GOVERNMENTS AS ENGINES OF INCLUSIVE, INDUSTRIAL AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT INDUSTRIAL CLUSTERS: A SUCCESSFUL SOCIAL POLICY

SOCIAL IMPACT OF THE SUPPORTING MEASURES TO IDUSTRIAL CLUSTERS. EDUCATION FOR INCLUSION PRODUCTIVE EDUCATION CENTERS (CEP) in INDUSTRIAL PARKS 27 CEP IN PROGRESS 5 CEP BEING CREATED 71 COURSES GIVEN MORE THAN 2800 WORKERS BEING TRAINED

SOCIAL IMPACT OF THE SUPPORT MEASURES FOR INDUSTRIAL PARKS. FEDERAL LAND DEVELOPMENT WITH EQUITY

Promotion of locations inland of the Province 80 % OF INDUSTRIAL PARKS ARE INLAND UMPRO PROMOTION: 6 projects in rural districts of up to 8500 inhabitants = 250 new direct job positions. ROOTING FOR NEW GENERATIONS

CONCLUSION. CHALLENGES Bringing development inland, strengthening regional economies “Annual Impact: $495 million, equals to 0.56% of the annual gross income that in turn accounts for 70% of the total revenue of the province. Working with schools and universities Developing infrastructure: roads, railways, schools, universities, hospitals. Inclusive and Sustainable Industrial Development (ISID) will result in a better quality of life.
