We are at war? Yes! Paul tells us in Ephesians 6: 12 “ For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this present darkness world, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

Who is the enemy ? He’s invisible He’s on the attack He’s a created Spirit (Colossians 1: 15) He’s is mention multiple times in scripture Serpent (Genesis 3:1) Devil ( Revelation 20:10) Satan “the prince of demons” Minion as angels We need to know the enemy

Breastplate of righteous Protects our heart from mortal wounds Enemy can never destroy us because of sin Living God’s way Making the right choice everyday to live in a righteous manner. Eph 4: 26,27 Covers chest, keeps from fatally wounded in the heart

Belt of truth Surround ourselves with God’s truth Knowing truths keeps us from possibility deception Illuminates any darkness John 8 31:32 Gives supports to the core, also can hold weapons'

Shoes gospel of peace Enemy is waiting for us slip. He keeps us from peace ( anxious, fearful, upset and just waiting) Jesus gives us peace, ground us, gives foundation to walk solid Philippians 4 :7 Colossians 3:15 Shoes were studded on bottom/like cheats keeps them from slipping

Shield of faith Stops flaming darts ( Schemes, temptations, lies) attacks on God’s people Absolute confidence in God.
