ESF in the Czech Republic in 2007 – 2013 Three ESF operational programmes: Objective 1 Human Resources and Employment OP Education for Competitiveness OP Objective 2 Adaptability OP

ESF in the Czech Republic in 2007 – 2013 Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (Managing authority of OP HRE) –Responsible for ESF coordination in the Czech Republic Working group for coordination of ESF issues Members = ESF Managing authorities (MoLSA - leader, Ministry of Education, Prague Municipality)

Operational Programme Human Resources and Employment (OP HRE) The only OP with dedicated priority axis on TNC Total budget of priority axis: 41 million EUR (2% of the OP budget) Both – specific priority axis and horizontal approach (i.e. transnational costs eligible in all other priority axes)

Cooperation and exchange of information with EU Member States Cooperation mainly with France (design of the call, tools for applicants, publicity of TN partnership offers) CZ call published online on transnationality platform Contact Points were informed about CZ call ( s, CP meetings) Contacting Transnational Contact Points – offer to help finding TN partners

Implementation of transnational cooperation in other EU Member States A shift in responsibility to Member States and Regions  necessity to regularly update information on regional and national OPs with transnational element in Member States on Examples – Spain and Poland
