Garment Misses Slip Dress -Spring/ Summer -Fabric B Front Back

Descriptive Information: Fabric B Fabric Width /Width Average: 60 in Fiber Content: 100% Polyester Fabric Structure (Weave Type): Plain weave Fabric Name : Satin Chiffon Thread Count: 42 Warp average: 43 yarns per inches squared Filling average: 43 yarns per inches squared Yarn twist: -Warp: S-twist Filling: S-twist Fabric Weight: 4.65 ounces

Soil Release: Oily Stain Release Method Test method is designed to measure ability of fabrics to release oily stain during home laundering. -AATCC Stain Release Replica -5.0 to 1.0 scale -Both performed extremely well -Dinner and drinks Observer 1Observer 2 Fabric A5.0 Fabric B5.0 AVERAGE5.0

Pilling Resistance and Other Related Surface Changes Test method determines the resistance to the formation of pills and other related surface changes on textile fabrics. ASTM Photographic Pilling Standards Scale from 1 to 5: -5 “no pilling” -1 “severe pilling” Specimen 1Specimen 2Specimen 3Average Fabric A Fabric B5555

Dimensional Changes in Automatic Home Laundering of Fabric and Trim Test method determines the extent of dimensional change on woven and knit fabrics when combined with an attached trim. Fabric A: -Dimensional change in cycles -Trim showed signs of fraying Fabric B: -No dimensional change in cycles -No color transfer to trim -Did not take well to trim in HCH cycle Fabric AFinal MeasurementDimensional ChangeFabric State HCH9.7 in(-) 1%wrinkled CCL9.5 in(-) 3.1%wrinkled Fabric BFinal MeasurementDimensional ChangeFabric State HCH9.8 in0%distorted CCL9.8 in0%0%distorted

Weather Resistance of Textiles: Exposure to Daylight and Weather Test specimens A & B and standard control are exposed simultaneously to natural weathering. Exposure by calendar days -AATCC Gray Scale for Color Change -Fabric B out-performed Fabric A Fabric AWindow A: 672 hours Window B: 504 hours Window C: 336 hours Window D: 72 hours Observer Observer Average Fabric BWindow A: 672 hours Window B: 504 hours Window C: 336 hours Window D: 72 hours Observer Observer Average2-3333

Color Fastness to Heat: Hot Pressing Test method determines the resistance of color and color transfer when subjected to hot pressing. -AATCC Gray Scale for Color Change - 1 to 5 scale -Based on the table both Fabric A & B did not have color change Fabric AFabric B Wet55 Dry55

Conclusion Fabric B is the best choice for the garment: Stain resistant- no hassle worry for laundering Pilling- not an issue when drying garment in the home Trim- dimensional changes with trim will not occur when appropriate trim is used Resistant to light exposure- will not have a severe change in color Color fastness to heat- an iron will not transfer color These characteristics of Fabric B are perfect for the slip dress and make laundering easy for the consumer.

Thank You!
