Finding Places 1. Enter the latitude and longitude or location of your 1 st Place Mark 2. Location should appear below search bar as a marker.

Bringing Placemarks into Folder 1. Drag this location to your ‘Lewis and Clark’ folder

Editing Placemarks 1. Control Click on Placemark 2. Click on Get Info

2. Rename Placemark 3. Write a description of your placemark. 1. Click on the symbol button and choose a new symbol.

Select a symbol appropriate to your Place mark.

Inserting an Image 1 st need to find an image online. Try Creative Commons (search.creativecommons.org) Uncheck the 2 search restrictions Try Flickr

1. Control Click on the image. 2. Click on Copy Image Location

In the Description section you must use HTML to insert an image. IMAGE LINK is a paste of your image address.

Citing Sources

In Google Earth First, single click on ‘Lewis and Clark’ Folder Then, click on File ->Save -> Save Place As
