Beginning of Class Procedures: Come in quietly and find a seat. You will be assigned a seat later. Unload your backpack. You can NOT take it with you. You will leave it here and get it before connections. You’ll get a locker later. Go get your breakfast NOW. Do not wait. Breakfast is over at 9:15. You will be dismissed at that time to go to your first period.

Language Arts – Warm Up 08/03/15  Find a seat. You will be assigned a seat later.  Each day, you are expected to immediately begin the Warm Up (Opening Session).  Warm Up: On the lined side of your postcard, write a paragraph detailing what you did this summer. Language Arts – Work Session 08/03/15 Human Bingo  Your task is to travel around the classroom, getting to know your classmates.  You will have to ask the questions on your sheet to find people who match each square.  Once you have found someone who matches the description in the square, have that person write their name on your paper.  You need five squares in a row-horizontal, vertical, or diagonal-in order to yell out “BINGO”!  Remember, you may only use each classmate once!

Language Arts – Closing Session 08/03/15  “Sixth Grade Times” Newsletter Complete the newsletter entry for all parts.  If you do not finish this newsletter in class today, you must complete it for homework tonight.  This assignment is due no later than tomorrow.  If you finish early, submit your work to your class period’s homework bin (located near my desk).
