Business Need Provide a business database to keep better track of incoming and outgoing shipments of raw materials and product Keep track of the raw materials used in production of Dow’s products:  what vendors the product was purchased from  how it was delivered to the company (via truck, train, or pipeline)  how it was delivered to the buyer (via truck, train, or pipeline)  Determine the ROP based on flow of inventory per quarter
