Christianity and Culture How do we as Christians interact with the cultures of this world?

What is culture?  The beliefs, customs, arts, etc., of a particular society, group, place, or time.  The way we make sense of the world.

Describe your own culture?

Ponderings  What is our purpose as Christians?  Matt 22:36-40  Matt 28:18-20  Acts 1:8  How does that apply to culture?  As we are going we will encounter them.

How does the world view Christian culture?  John 15:19  Col 2:8  Is culture making our end goal?

End Note!  In order to reach people we have to understand where they are coming from  We also need to understand where we are coming from  When conflict happens we need to determine is it because of differences in culture?  If conflict doesn’t happen, are you reppin Jesus?
