There are many different kinds of leads … Let’s look at some different kinds of leads for the story Three Little Pigs.

Question Grabber What do straw, bricks and twigs have in common?

A dramatic or mysterious grabber Whish… stomp…knock…knock… the sounds came and went.

Onomatopoeia “Oink, oink, oink!”

Use an interesting description Perhaps it was the cute, curly tails, or maybe those pink, round cheeks that attracted the furry fellow to look for a home in such an out of the way place.

Action Lead The pigs turned around, waved to their Mother and embarked on an adventure they were yet to discover.

Dialogue “Please, Please, Please Mom, don’t make us move!”
