Ngati Whakaue Territory

Primary Objective : To reach a comprehensive, final and durable settlement. The settlement is for and behalf of: Ngati Whakaue and all its constituent Hapu, in particular, the six Koromatua. I riro whenua atu, Me hoki whenua mai.

FAQ Can Ngati Whakaue members know what is going to be in the AIP before it is signed? We will be able to give high level information, but the content is confidential between the Crown and the mandated Group until it is signed. Can the redress be amended after the AIP? Only minor matters can be reviewed before initialling the Deed of Settlement if needed. How can we input into the settlement? Get your whanau registered so they can vote whether to accept the settlement after the deed is initialled Touch base with a Komiti Nui Trustee/Negotiator Come into the office and talk to the Komiti Nui staff
