1. “Fair is foul, and foul is fair, Hover though the fog and filthy air” (I.i.12).

2. “Come, you spirits that tend on mortal thoughts! unsex me here!” (I.v.22-23).

3. “Is this a dagger which I see before me, the handle toward my hand? Come, let me clutch thee” (II.i.25-26).

4. All hail Macbeth, that shall be king hereafter!

5. Thou shalt get Kings, though thou be none.

6. Yet I do fear thy nature; It is too full of the milk of human kindness.

7. Look like the innocent flower but be the serpent under it.

8. Glamis hath murdered sleep, and therefore Cawdor shall sleep no more. Macbeth shall sleep no more.
