God ‘The Father’ - Jesus ‘ The Son’ - The Holy Spirit The Trinity is the term used to signify the central Doctrine of the Christian religion. Within the unity of the Godhead, there are 3 Persons – The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, and these 3 persons are truly Distinct one from another. In the words of the Creed: “The Father is God, the Son in God, and the Holy Sprit is God, and yet there are not 3 Gods but one God”. There are 3 basic elements of the Christian vision of God. These 3 main elements are: 1. God created the world, establishing it with order and form 2. God redeemed the world in Jesus Christ 3. God is present in the world here and now, guiding and encouraging believers.

The Trinity
