TALENT 21 PROJECT BY: KEVIN NORWOOD PERIOD 5 DATE: 2012

INTRODUCTION WE MAY THINK US MODERN HUMANS DO A LOT TO HURT THE ENVIORMENT, EARLY HUMANS AND SETTLEMENTS DID MORE DAMAGE THAN YOU THINK. ALL THE DIGGING, KILLING OF ANIMALS, BUILDING, KILLING PLANTS FOR RESCORCES, AND MUCH MORE CAUSED A VERY BIG IMPACT ON EARTH AND THE ENVIORMENT WE LIVE IN TODAY. MY POWERPOINT WILL SHOW THE AUDIENCE HOW MUCH OF AN IMPACT EARLY/ANCIENT HUMANS HAD ON EARTH.

AFTER GLACIER AGE OVER HUNTING STARTING FIRES. CUTTING DOWN TREES. DIGGING UP STONES FOR TOOLS. USING UP EVERY NATRUAL RESCORCE.

EARLY HUMANS PICKING PLANTS, FRUITS, AND VEGIES. STARTING FIRES. CUTTING DOWN TREES. DIGGING FOR ROOTS AND HARVEST. DOING TO MUCH HUNTING. SLASH AND BURN FARMING.

EARLY FARMERS DIGGING UP CROPS. DIGGING DITCHES FOR IRRIGATION. FARM ANIMALS EATING GRASS. CUTTING WOOD TO BUILD BOATS FOR TRADE. BUILDING SILOS.

MESOPOTAMIA MAKING DAMNS TO CONTROLL FLOODING. BUILDING CHARIOTS. MAKING A ZIGGUROT IN EACH TOWN. BUILDING ROOM LIKE DAMNS TO STORE WATER.

EGYPT MAKING PYPRUS (DRIED UP DEAD GRASS). WAR DIGGING UP STONES TO BUILD PYRAMIDS. BURRYING BODIES.

EGYPT (CONTINUED) MORE CHANGES ANCIENT EGYPT CAUSED IN OUR IS PAPYRUS. PAPYRUS IS A TYPE OF GRASS. THE ANCIENT EGYPTIANS MADE PAPYRUS BY LEAVING THE GRASS OUTSIDE FOR IT TO DRY. THIS COULD HAVE HAD AN IMPACT ON EARTH BECAUSE THIS PROCESS WAS USED A LOT AND THE RESCORCE COULD HAVE BECOME VERY SCARCE. THIS COULDHAVE ALSO BECOME A PROBLEM BECAUSE TAKING THE GRASS OUT OF THE EATH TAKES OUT THE ROOTS OF THE GRASS. THE ROOTS GIVE THE EARTH SOME LIFE. DOING THIS PROCESS OVER AND OVER MAY HAVE HURT THE EARTH.

GREECE BUILDING BOATS. WOOD MONUMENTS. BUILDING STONE MONUMENTS. BULDING HOUES NEAR THE COST. MAKING POTTERY OUT OF CLAY.

ROME BUILDING STADIUMS OUT OF STONE. BUILDING BARNS TO RAISE CATTLE AND SHEEP. FORGING METAL TOOLS. MAKING WOOL CLOTHS FOR DECORATION.

CONCLUSION ALL OF THESE ANCIENT CIVILIZATIONS CAUSED A LOT OF EFFECT ON OUR ECONOMY TODAY. LIKE OVER USING RECORCES, OVER HUNTING, OR WAR. THESE CAUSES HAD AN GREAT EFFECT IN THE WORLD. AS WE THINK TODAY HOW MUCH DAMAGE THE MODERN RACE DOES TO THE EARTH, EARLIER CIVILIZATIONS STARTED ALL OF THE DAMAGE TO OUR ECONOMY. THANKS FOR WATCHING.
