Stem & Leaf Plots Stem and Leaf plots are a way of organizing (This is clip art.) Stem and Leaf plots are a way of organizing a wide range of numbers in a set of data.

Place 7 (the digit in 10’s place) in the stem column. For example, to plot the number 75, Place 7 (the digit in 10’s place) in the stem column. Place 5 (the digit in 1’s place) in the leaf column.
