Infrastructure zFiber Optic backbone complete to nearly all buildings, including all residence halls ySpeed of the Academic network (including residence halls) increasing from 10 Mbps to 100 Mbps, summer 1999 zInterior network wiring and Internet connection complete for nearly all buildings (- studio art, music, and dance) yFour residence halls wired summer, 1999

Computing and Networking in the Residence Halls zAll student rooms have Ethernet jacks, with connection to the Internet zStudent needs a computer with an Ethernet card. zWells will install and configure the card in an “Installation Fair” at beginning of term.
